Pre-launch

The workday is longfor your dog.

A collar with a camera, two-way audio and GPS. Look in from anywhere, say something, and step in if you need to.

No spam. Occasional build updates.

The reason

This is Aura.

Every feature in Rora started as a question about her day that I couldn't answer.

How it works

You see it. You decide. She hears you.

Rora never corrects your dog on its own. Tap through a real intervention.

Note — concept demo of the app. On-collar behaviour recognition arrives with the second-generation hardware. The first collars ship with GPS, camera, audio and manual intervention. Patent pending (US 64/190,213).

The collar

Three things, done properly.

See and hear them

Live video and two-way audio from the collar. Look in from your desk, say something, and hear the room answer.

Know where they are

GPS over 4G on the collar itself — no home hub, no phone needed nearby. If a door gets left open, you know within seconds.

Step in gently

Your recorded voice first, vibration second. The static option ships disabled and stays that way until you choose otherwise.

Why this exists

It started with Aura.

She's a black long-haired German Shepherd with a talent for finding the one gap in a fence. Everything in Rora traces back to something she did while I wasn't looking.

If you join the list you'll hear from me, and you'll see the parts of the build that go wrong as well as the parts that go right.
